Ray Toll

Ray Toll is a retired Navy CAPTAIN who has worked in the fields of Meteorology and Oceanography for his entire career. He chaired OCEANS 2012 in Hampton Roads, helping to usher in a concerted whole of government regional effort to address coastal resiliency that continues today. He was President of the Marine Technology Society from 2014-2016, and served on the MTS board from 2013-2018. He is the former Director of Coastal Resilience Research at Old Dominion University. He holds a Masters of Science in Meteorology and Oceanography.
